Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to attempting TV and movie roles. Anna got her first major part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final decades of Walter White.
